⚙️ Managing Your Account

The Account Management section (sometimes called Profile or Settings) is where you can manage your user account and app settings.

To access this section, tap the Settings or Profile icon in the main navigation bar.

👤 Profile Settings​

In your profile settings, you can view and update information related to your account.

Options include:

  • Viewing Your Email: See the email address associated with your account.
  • Changing Your Password: If you signed up with email, you can update your password here.
  • Managing Accounts: Switch between or manage your Personal, Business, or Club accounts (if you have multiple accounts set up).

🚪 Signing Out​

If you need to sign out of your Receiptr account:

  1. Go to the Settings or Profile section.
  2. Find and tap the Sign Out or Log Out option.
  3. Confirm that you wish to sign out if prompted.

Signing out will return you to the welcome or login screen. You will need to sign in again to access your data.

🗑️ Deleting Your Account​

If you decide you no longer want to use Receiptr and wish to remove your account and all your data permanently, you can delete your account.

Permanent Data Loss

Deleting your account is a permanent and irreversible action. All your scanned receipts, account data, and settings will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

To delete your account:

  1. Go to the Settings or Profile section.
  2. Find an option like Account or Manage Account and tap on it.
  3. Look for a Delete Account option.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. You will be asked to confirm this action, often requiring you to enter your password or confirm through your linked account (like Google) for security.
  6. Carefully read the warnings about data loss and proceed if you are certain.
