👀 Viewing and Managing Your Receipts
The Receipts section is where you can access all your scanned and processed receipts. You can easily browse, search, filter, and sort your receipts to find exactly what you need.
To access this section, tap the Receipts icon in the main navigation bar (usually located at the bottom of the screen).

📋 The Receipt List
The main view of the Receipts section shows a list of your receipts. Each item in the list provides a summary of the receipt, such as the merchant name, date, and total amount.
Receipts are displayed with the most recent ones at the top by default.

🔍 Searching for Receipts
Looking for a specific receipt? Use the search bar to find receipts quickly.
- Tap the Search icon (usually a magnifying glass) at the top of the Receipts screen.

- A search bar will appear. Type keywords such as the merchant name, an item name, or even part of the total amount.
- The list will automatically update as you type, showing only the receipts that match your search.

🔽 Filtering Receipts
Filters allow you to narrow down the list of receipts based on specific criteria. This is useful when you only want to see receipts from a certain time period, category, or account.
- Tap the Filter icon (often looks like a funnel or sliders) at the top of the Receipts screen.

- A filter menu or screen will open. Here you can set criteria such as:
- Date Range: Select a specific period (e.g., last 30 days, this month, a custom range).
- Category: Choose one or more spending categories to display.
- Account: Filter by a specific Personal, Business, or Club account.
- Select your desired filter options.
- Tap Apply Filters to update the list.
The receipt list will now only show receipts that match your selected criteria.
To clear all applied filters and see all your receipts again, open the filter menu and look for a Clear Filters option.
📊 Sorting Receipts
You can change the order in which your receipts are displayed in the list.
- Tap the Sort icon (often looks like arrows pointing up and down, or lines with arrows).

- A sort menu will open.
- Choose the property you want to sort by (e.g., Receipt Date, Total Amount, the date the receipt was added).
- Choose the order (Ascending for smallest/oldest first, or Descending for largest/most recent first).
- Tap Apply.
The list will reorder according to your selection.
📄 Viewing Receipt Details
To see all the extracted information for a receipt, including individual items, and to view the scanned image itself, tap on any receipt in the list.
- Tap on a receipt item in the list.
- The Receipt Detail screen will open.

On this screen, you can view:
- The original scanned image of the receipt.
- Key details like the merchant name, date of purchase, total amount, tax, and invoice number.
- A list of individual items purchased and their details.
- The category assigned to the receipt.
- The processing status and the AI's confidence score for the extraction.
From the detail screen, you can also ✏️ Edit Receipt Details or perform other actions like deleting the receipt.
🗑️ Deleting a Receipt
If you need to remove a receipt from your account permanently:
- Go to the Receipts list.
- Tap on the receipt you want to delete to open its Receipt Detail screen.
- On the detail screen, tap the Delete button (usually an icon like a trash can).

- A confirmation message will appear. This is to make sure you really want to delete it, as this action cannot be undone.
- Confirm that you want to permanently delete the receipt.
Deleting a receipt is a permanent action and cannot be undone. The receipt image and all associated data will be permanently removed from your account and our systems.
